Sky Q box has been connected by ethernet to (non-Sky) router for last 12 months without any problem. Yesterday connection dropped and unable to reset ethernet automatically or manually. However, WiFi connects okay via booster. Also, other devices connected to router (desktop & xbox) via ethernet both working okay. Checked all four ethernet outputs from router work okay. Also checked that cable from router to Sky Q box working okay. So, if it's not the router or cable then presumably the hardware for the ethernet connection in the Sky Q box has failed? Any other suggestions to troubleshoot or do I need a new Sky Q box?
