I have been awaiting delivery today for Sky fitting a pole within the front driveway (removed)
It has not been installed

I'm also confused about the reference to a Sky Pole? Sky don't deliver or install poles, I presume you are wating on Openreach to carry out some work for the installation of broadband?
Your post has also been moved to the broadband forum as it's not a Sky Glass issue.

As @GD1 indicates, ISPs like Sky never install poles or work on existing ones: some full fibre altnet ISPs do, but that's not relevant in this case. Where an Openreach pole team is involved, a client ISP may have very little information about timescales.
