Sky Max Router won’t reach WiFi around the house

Router is located in the understairs cupboard where the fibre in property box is. Wifi works ok downstairs but upstairs it struggles. Only just moved to Sky and didn't have any problems with previous Vodafone router. Any ideas on how this can be resolved? Don't really want to pay more, especially when the Vodafone router worked perfectly find across the whole house from the same location.

Having the router in the cupboard isnt the most ideal place which will be why the signal is weak. Not all routers are made the same so its quite possible that your Vodafone router was producing a stronger signal. Your main two options are purchasing your own 3rd party router or get boosters from Sky, however you must have the WiFi boost or Max addons for this.
