Sky Max Hub resets WiFi SSID & Password

Getting angry, three times now my Sky Max Hub has factory reset itself over night forgetting the SSID & password I setup, don't want to use the out of the box WiFi details.

The app still shows the correct SSID £ Password ?

I have read how to sort the Puck from doing this but am lost on the Hub Max. Strangely if I go onto the settings for the hub and switch off the WiFi (Disable WiFi) on the app the Puck stops working even though it has a Ethernet cable plugged in.

If you changed the SSID and password in the router admin it will default back to whatever is setup in the MySky app.

You need to make the changes in the app if you haven't already due to the cloud technology in use.

I just noticed that you mention it showing correct in the MySky app.

If you setup up correctly and it's not pushing through to the router it might be worth doing a hard reset and starting again.

Hold the wps button down for 30 secs.

Thanks, sorry I change the ssid & password in the App then it works fine, then it will factory reset itself (seems to be at night) and then shows the out of the box ssid on my phone and will connect.

so I go into the app and it's still showing the ssid and password I changed it too, not the out of box ssid is now showing.
