My broadband is back. Seems Openreach are working on the issue and customers should be back soon. Sky helpline is working as well since 9am.

Can you take off any blocks, anything else like that so I can search what I want and have full control over my internet access please without having any restrictions whatsoever

@Andymulv the account holder has complete control over the Broadband Shield settings see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-shield-start
Ofcom require Sky to set these to Age 13 by default either change the setting to Age 18 or turn it off completely.

UK law requires that ISPs ensure some restrictions remain in place, because some internet content is considered to be unacceptable. This form of blocking is enforced at the ISP network level and cannot be removed: it's ultimately a political decision.
Blocked sites and resources may contain material related to extremism and radicalisation, banned organisations, child exploitation and copyright infringement.
