Sky uses an option with a Dynamic IP address known as DHCP Option 61 and 80% of broadband exchanges support DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation for authenticating with Sky's backend. Any wireless mesh you get should support both options and Asus wireless routers have a nice wireless mesh system that is compatible.

Re: Sky Internet connection type, ie is it Dynamic IP or other netgear raxe300

Good afternoon mae3

I would like to replace the Sky hub with my Netgear RAXE300 router, but when I connect it, the internet signal doesn't reach, and some people tell me I need to configure it in option 61. How could I do it? Because as soon as I connect the router, it says PPPoE and asks me for an ID and password, or maybe it's the way I'm connecting it. Please help me. Thank you.

Unless the RAXE300 supports DHCP Option 61 which I don't think it does then you are out of luck. The only other way is to connect the router in access point mode to the Sky router LAN port.
