Sky Hub won’t Activate can’t link Max Pod
Just joined Sky got the Max hub. My router isn't reaching everywhere so they send out one of the Max Pod plugs. It won't connect.
when I try to connect it I'm taken to the MySky app where it tells me it's activating my hub and it may take 20mins.
ive been trying to activate it for days, tried multiple factory resets of the router and nothing. It just keeps making me do the Sky BroadBand checker and then search these forums for answers. Anyone got any idea how I can get this Hub Activated in the app and then my Max Pod

@ConorM this seems to be quite a common issue while signing out closing and then re-opening the app can help it often doesn't so I have escalated your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

I am also having the same issue. It keeps saying we are trying to set up your hub but then after a while says we can't set it up. Try reinstallation again or check if already connected etc. I have plugged my pod in many plugs but doesn't seem to connect. I even hardwired it to the router and no luck. They are sending me a replacement pod but what's the point if the router itself cannot connect to the pod!

@RickeshP & @Trickydicky1000 if your hub's settings are not showing up in the My Sky app after signing out, closing the appmfully then re-opening and trying again give Skyba call.
@Trickydicky1000 if you are paying £130 per month just for broadband you are being ripped off most of use get the full TV service including Sports for that amount.

Hi there
I have logged out. Closed the app. Etc. still says we're setting up your hub. And when I go into it, it says we're having trouble activating your hub. "Repeat installation steps" or "Launch Service Checker" which I have done both and still nothing. Sky are sending me another pod which should arrive today but I still think it's gonna be the same issue.

Thanks, have actually uninstalled 'my sky app' and reinstalled to no avail. This was suggested on another blog.
Gonna see what sky come up with
