Sky Full Fibre Max WiFi not working

We upgraded to Sky Full fibre max broadband last week (previously we had skys 50mb version).  Since doing so our WiFi within the house has dropped meaning devices do not connect to the router, or the sky q box will connect/lose connection every 10 seconds and parts of the house previously with good WiFi coverage are now not connecting at all.  We have 3 mini boxes and a sky wifi booster in the house so should have good coverage.  Have others experienced this with the new full fibre max?  Or any suggestions on how to address the dead zones and poor connection.  The sky website and helpline are really poor on this.

@jkeane1978 When you did the Fibre upgrade, did the Engineer move the Sky Hub to another place nearer where they fitted the new Fibre modem called the ONT.

If it was moved, how much and how far from where you had it previous. Trying not to re-invent the wheel....

Thanks - we have both of those.  We are on the Gigamax contract also.  At the moment our speed says 600mb when we run the test on the sky app, however the reality is far from that on the different devices.

It has moved but only about 3metres and still in the same room.

Re: Sky Full Fibre Max WiFi not working

@jkeane1978 That is more than enough to cause an issue if it is still the same hub and you did not do anything else. How easy is it to move back to the same place as before, it just needs a longer Ethernet cable than the short one that was supplied for the changeover.

Is it feasible for that to be done, only you can say that, a 5M Ethernet Cat5e cable is all that would be required to be done assuming the cable route does not upset anything major!
