I just renewed my broadband contract. I already had full fibre @550 mbps but was offered gigafast for only an extra £1 a month. There was a confusing discussion about getting a new router to get better WIFI but I explained that i don't used the Sky router WIFI and connect a mesh network to the router and my Sky Q box has a wired connection into the router.
Can someone confirm that the SR203 router I have will handle the faster connection? I was left with a doubt.

@tjt1961 The SR203 that you have and connecting the mesh to the GB/s Ethernet port on the SR203, then the unit is good upto the speed that the port can handle, it is your mesh you have to question not the sky Hub!

@tjt1961 Just don't go crazy, mesh is difficult and even my Asus with the 160Mhz backhaul channel struggles although the mobile just now is showing 1134Mb/s connection and the laptop is sitting at 1733Mb/s sync's they are kidding there selfs on BIG time and that's why the unit is Ethernet backhauled at the 1GB/s nic speed as they will get up there in a good day SOMETIMES!
