Sky Fibre 100 connection issue

Hi,

 

I had sky fibre 100 installed on 15th August after this was offered by Sky as a free of charge upgrade and was now available in my area. Up to this point we'd had no issues with our internet connection.

We have had intermittent issues with the connection dropping since and we are still having issues now. We keep getting told by Sky and BT / Openreach that everything is fine and is working. We have Sky WiFi max with the brand new hub installed. The lights on the ONT keep going off / flashing green / flashing red, then reconnecting after a minute or so.

 

This affects me working from home and watching Sky glass TV etc. I have looked at the settings of the router, and after doing some digging on the internet and found these in the log. Could this be part of the problem? Is it a quick fix?

obviously with Sky 100, you are "guaranteed" 90mbps. Below is what we've had so far.

After countless hours on the phone to Sky at all times of the day / night, the last bit of patience I have left is running out fast! 

Any help would be much appreciated!

@Strutty07856 the speed issue and the lights on the ONT imply an issue with the fibre feed. Most likely an issue with the weld in your CSP box. Even a microscopic piece of dust in that joint can cause issues. It is rare but does happen.

 

This needs checking out by Openreach unless a Sky tech did the install. Go back to Sky emphasise the speed test results and the ONT instability. Not all Sky agents are experts on how fibre works so you may havecto make a formal complaint tomget your case to the right team.

@Strutty07856 As @Chrisee has pointed out the ONT so not sure which one you have so will link the two common ones that OR install, but basically Pon Solid Green all off the time, no flashing, no off, no Red's that is the perfect result, and OR if that is your connection need to jump all over it! Adtran treat the Alarm light as the LOS in the picture!
