Sky Contact Number

Hi,

Going through divorce and soon to be ex has completed the moving home call with sky to move his account, broadband, etc.

I now need to make an account for myself so we have minimal loss of service at the home and I can connect everything asap after he disconnects it all and moves out.

I want to talk to an advisor as this isn't a straightforward new account - I have the disconnect date for next month and currently, obviously, my address is flagged as a current fibre connection for sky with an active account - that isn't mine!

Can anyone provide a phone number I can call?  I haven't set up an online account yet, I only have the skyID that is linked to my ex's existing account.

Hope that makes sense.... it's all a bit confusing which is why I'd rather speak it through!

Many thanks

@Kazzi25  You won't be able to place an order until all services have been ceased in your partners name, then it will take a minimum of 10 working days for a new broadband service to be setup in your name, there is no way around this.  Have your services been cancelled yet?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Kazzi25 if your ex has booked a home move for a date you should be able to order a service starting after that date. You should be able yo that as a new customer. You will need a new Sky id linked for the new service. The forum does not allow posting of phone numbers but any of Sky's 033 numbers should connect to their IVR system which if you are apient should queue for an agent.

Re: Sky Contact Number

So, what a day....

I cannot speak to anyone via an 033 number as it says my number doesn't match an account - it won't do, I haven't entered my number into an account...

I tried virtual assistant - who gave me a number, that I couldn't access as it didn't recognise my number, asked for the number on the account, which I can't give as I don't have an account...

Tried ringing the sales team to set up a new account - lady told me no problem, they can set up the account and get everything ready for switch on after ex leaves.  Was then told broadband option I want is only available online.... advised to sign up online.

Went online, created sky account - tried signing up, can't do it as there is a question 'do you have landline, broadband or both' - I don't have any, there is no option for that and no way to bypass question, can't sign up online...

Then opened online chat - advisor told me that I need to set up an account and he could only do that if I subscribed to all their services including mobile sim... I don't need that and am not signing up to multiple month term contracts! Told him I had an account, gave the email address of the account I've just created and was logged into.

He then told me that they can't have more tyhan one account at the same address so I can't do anything until the service is disconnected.  No help, no suggestions, just nothing...

I'm already dealing with enough - this has really been an awful experience so I think I'll reassess my options and provider.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
