Sky Broadband
Hi I have just recently purchased a house, I booked for a sky engineer to come out this Friday. I need to know if this is still going ahead and what time they will be arriving.

If this is for a fibre instaltion then it will be either Openreach or Ciry Fibre that will do this work.

Re: Sky Broadband
Hi I'm in the middle of finding out if open reach are going to do the work or not but had an appointment booked for this Friday. Can't they still put the basic broadband in and then follow up with the fibre once open reach have done the work?

Re: Sky Broadband
Does anything show on the link for you ?
In my experience Openreach sent me a few emails about the appointment when I had fibre installed.

No, it costs them money regardless of who does it so they're not going to do it twice.

A few forum posts have suggested that this might happen in very rare cases where FTTP installation has been repeatedly delayed.
