Siro relocation

Hi All,

I would like to get the Siro box moved to a different location.

Is it SKY i need to contact about this.

Also a rough price if anyone has an idea would be great.

I contaced customer service over the phone and they had no idea what I was speaking about.

Hi @Sullyck

It would be Sky you need to contact. Its offically called a ONT relocation, it used to be called a master socket relocation.

Re: Siro relocation

@Sullyck Is a SIRO box a reference used for the ROI connection for broadband?

SIRO is an interesting deployment because it's using the existing lines, poles and ducts of the state-owned electricity grid provider (ESB) and the optical cable can enter the subscription address at the meter box.

@Sullyck

In the UK with Openreach the cost used to be £65. I dont know if its gone up since then. Additionally I do not know what service SIRO offer & what they would charge for it.
