@caesarome

It's one of the wholesale FTTP networks in RoI: technically it's Vodafone Ireland running optical fibre alongside power cables belonging to the state-owned Electricity Supply Board.

Re: Siro down in meath

It runs the fibre coming into the house

Went  into  all sorts of troubleshooting with a tech  on wassap. Then found  out other  people in estate having  same issue..

And the issue  was with siro. That the tech did not know.

Everthibg looks fine. Lights etc but no Internet.  Been out since last  night

No fix time.

Very little info  from  sky Ireland.

Its random  aswell  effects some and not others

Re: Siro down in meath

Yes, same issue here, on tech support on whatsapp for ages and nothing, network engineer arranged, I called again and they found that it's an edge case issue with siro, even siro says no outage.

It's really annoying trying to figure this one out, and no news if it's resolved or not.

@DaveF75   First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
