Shocking Internet again

Yet again told on the phone I have no Internet issues, had a new box, engineer out and everything, but every night at 3am my broadband goes down for half and hour. Not ideal when you work nights! Sort it out sky or I'm leaving!

Same. Some responders on here are quite dismissive about the clear issues too which is infuriating.

Re: Shocking Internet again

If there was some transpanecy as to when these service updates would happen I could work around it, but every one including the "advisors" on here are just ignoring the matter and claiming it's fine

@JBK1

It could be overnight maintenance taking place.

If it still down later then the first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Re: Shocking Internet again

Thanks but I've read that ChatGPT bot reply on multiple different topics on here...

I tried all of that multiple times like I said in the original post "everything"

Sky broadband discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers wfh to use it they won't receive additional or quicker support.

Sort it out sky or I'm leaving!

Re: Shocking Internet again

The original post you are replying to said that on the phone this poster was told there are no issues so, yes, the poster called Sky. I have a similar issue over the last 10 days. I've called Sky 8 times and am told every time there are no problems. On the 8th time, having requested each time for an engineer, Open reach have been instructed to investigate. Now I'm waiting for OpenReach. It would be less frustrating if, when responding, you read the thread.

They never read the full thread then wonder why we get frustrated...

Re: Shocking Internet again

@JBK1 @Foxglovevhg Just incase and this may or may not be the effect that you have or are receiving but currently there is a FW push to the sky hub, for sure the black SR203 and not sure if it is a failing or rinse/repeat over and over, for sure early hours is when it will be going on, so just the heads up to that!

Re: Shocking Internet again

I got told today that there is an outage in my area that is being fixed having been told for 11 days that there's no problem at all. Unbelievable!!

Re: Shocking Internet again

Thanks @JimM1

The answer I was looking for rather than going round and round in circles with the chat bots and "experts" on here that don't bother reading the whole thread.

Much appreciated

Re: Shocking Internet again

@JBK1 @Foxglovevhg All just user's like yourselves trying to piece it all together with whatever little information is passed on, and as before looking at your back posting's this may or may not be what is going on, many many reason's for hubs to up and just disconnect and head scratching to go on, so hopefully that is what is going on in each off your cases, will put my sky hub back on and see what is going on but with the all clear off she who must be obeyed...

That will be tonight though out the box fired up and ready to swap over!
