Setting up sky in italy

Has anyone any experience with setting up an account in Italy?  I'm trying to arrange sky broadband and tv for when i buy my place in italy so that i can set it up as soon as i am there. But they want an Italian phone number as part of my registration and wont accept my UK mobile number!
If i wait until i am over there and get an Italian SIM card, how quickly do they send the modem etc? Any other suggestions?

@FGan  As this is a UK customer forum it's unlikely anyone will have any real experience of moving to Italy.

If Sky Italy are wanting a Italian phone number your options are going to be limited and you may need to wait until you arrive in Italy, unless you have a family or friend who could get a Italian prepay sim for your mobile they could send it to you in the UK?

Other than that it's gong to be impossioble to answer your other questions.

Have you looked for ansdwers in Sky Italy?  https://assistenza.sky.it/sky-wifi-fibra

Google chrome can translate the page, this would be the best place to get help.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
