Setting up sky hub

When ive went to set my sky hub which got activated today it is stuck on a red light and has been for about 12 hours since recieving the activation text message?

 

ive tried resetting the hub and trying different ethernet ports etc any help is appreciated

@Leon29 If you have it connected to the ONT for a full fibre connection then there is only ONE port you can use, marked WAN port 4!

Nothing you have posted helps as you give no details off what you have and what you are connected too. So if you are Full Fibre, the ONT modem little white box does it have 3 Green lights, POWER,PON and LAN.

Yeah i have the modem and it is showing all 3 of the little green lights you mentioned, i have the ethernet cable connected into the WAN port 4 on the hub. Do i connect the other end into the modem box into a specific ethernet port or? because i have tried that and it stays red.

@Leon29 there is normally only one rj45 port on the ONT which the ethernet cable will plug into. In practice while port 4 is marked as WAN any port on the hub will work.if the hub has still not connected this morning after rebooting the Sky hub call Sky as the activation may have failed which Sky needs to get checked out

Ethernet port #1 on older multiport ONTs.
