Setting up broadband

I have just transferred to Sky. I have received the Sky Hub which I have installed after the activation date. It appears to be working. But wifi is still being supplied through my previous supplier's box. When I disconnect the previous supplier's box, I lose wifi and the internet. Help please.

Than you Caesarome. You have been very helpful. I'm afraid of losing the connection which i have to the internet but I do seem to have the Sky connection so I think it will be safe to do as you advise. Thanks again.

Re: Setting up broadband

I think there is something wrong at Sky. I also can't access my Sky app. I keep being sent on a loop entering name, password, verification then repeating. I spoke to someone at SKY yesterday who spent quite a long time on the problem but it wasn't resolved. Though I can access my account via the laptop.

Did you sign up to Sky via the switching service as they should have cancelled your Vodafone service if you did.

Re: Setting up broadband

Presumably. It was all done via the phone on a cold call from Sky.

You might want to get in touch with Vodafone about this to see if your account with them has been closed as based on what you have said it might not have been.
