Scam mails

I have received emails, texts and letters regarding an offer of free full fibre broadband. The phone number is a mobile and the email address does not belong to Sky. Sky have no record of sending me texts or emails. I ran the letter they sent me through several AI agents and all identified the letter and offer as a scam. Anyone else had this problem.

Re: Scam mails

@James477 No doubt many will have but the checks you have made are 100% the right way to do it!

Re: Scam mails

No messages relayed via WhatsApp and no record of any being sent. No record from Sky of texts, emails or letters. The email address given is not from Sky and the phone number is a mobile.

All searches for the phone number and email address suggest the offer is a scam.

@James477 svammers pick up the fact hhst there are genuine offers and copy them to catch people out. Youur vigilance means you wont be caught but unfortunately some people will.
