SSL connection errors over wifi

I'm getting ssl connection errors on Sky Broadband superfast over wifi - does sky block ssl?

No, that would break the majority of internet services.

Thanks, have disabled sky shield (and previously added the irl to the allowed), still no joy

It is definitely something to do with Sky brocking the URL becuase I can gain access to the site without issue and it has a R3 letsencrypt certificate which half the planet use.

Just to add, I can get to the url via a browser, just not via 3 applications that try to access it - its these apps that give me the "The SSL connection could not be established" error.

@JaySam  From the additional info provided it's not Sky blocking it but the apps,  as you can access the url via a web browser on Sky broadband without any issues then the apps your using are to blame.

There may be settings within these apps that need to be amended.

If you let the forum know which apps are cuasing the messages we may be abe to help further.
