SR213 Router worse than SR203?

I've recently had my line upgraded from 100Mbps to 150Mbps, as a requirement they sent out the newer Sr213 Router (white) to replace my aging SR203 (black) router.

Since this I am seeing wireless devices have intermittent connection, for example on my phone I can see under the wifi icon the upload/download arrows grey out which means it's lost connection momentarily. This is happening on all my wifi devices, there has been location change nor any new environmentals aspects to consider.

I've contacted support and as you'd expect, not useful and will no enabled manual channel selection. I've used a net scanner and see 5/6 wifis signals close by using the same channel yet the "automated" channel selectors is not selecting another one so it won't conflict.

Is there anyway, at all, to manually change my channels (I've rebooted, reset and all the basics)?

Don't see an alternative apart from replacing it with a third party router, or switching back to my SR203.

I used to work as a NOC engineer so hit me.

Multiple posts to this forum since the Max Hub was released in 2023 suggest it performs less well than the 2019 Sky Broadband Hub in some properties.

Only Sky has visibility of what percentage of installations this might be.
