SKY HUB SR-102 to be replaced with SR203

Hi Team,

I currently have an old SKY HUB SR102 with 100Mb Ethernet ports, but I need something faster for my NAS connectivity at home (1Gig min). A friend gave me a used Hub4 SR203, and I’d like to know if I can replace my SR102 with the SR203.

If it’s possible, could you please advise what configuration changes (if any) are needed to get my broadband working with the SR203? I’m currently on a Sky Broadband Superfast contract.

Looking forward to your guidance.

Thanks,
Waldek

@Waldek1 yes you can repkace an old SR102 with a SR203 if you eant. Indeed Sky short shortly be writing to you to offer judt such a replacement as the SR102 does not meet the new regulations coming in later this year. Your friend should hold onto their SR203 as they will be charged if it isnt returned if they switch away from Sky as these units are loaned not given.

You can do a straightvswap but if you have a lot of wifi devices changing the new hub's SSID and wifi password is sensible. The log in for the web interface will be the user name as admin and the password matches the default password on the label (it doesnt change if you change the wifi password its a different field.
