Re: S
@Kirsty893 the free Sky hub has its limitations and getting reasonable wifi in every room is not possible in many homes. Several options involving spending money but before trying those simply move your hub out into the open onto a shelf or similar so its above radiators andctge like so its wifi signal is not being blocked.
If that doesnt help you can buy one of the 2 packages Sky sell which are first Broadband Boost which costs £5 per month which gets you a booster if you cannot get 3Mb/s in every room from the better hub they supply. The second is the new Wifi Max at £7.50 a month which gets a new type of hub and up to 3 extender pods if after a visit a Sky engineer says you need them - currently the system doesnt work with Sky Q.
However once you factor in the ongoing payment Sky require for around £100 you can buy a Whole Home wifi kit which you can connect to your Sky hub, after switching off its wifi, by ethernet which can provide signal through out your home which is what I use. Loads of other options like replacing the hub completly but then you get into complications.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
