Running Ookla Speed Test
Why does it say on the app when I run it on my pc, that my broadband suppier is Amazon and not Sky.

Speedtest will chose nearby servers to your location and choose the server with the lowest response time hence, in your case, Amazon.
See How does Speedtest select a server?

When I run the app there are two names one above the other in the bottom left hand corner. The bottom one to my understanding is my broadband supplier and the top is the name of whoever is running the test and like I said its showing mybroadband supplier as Amazon. I hope that explains my question better thank you

Oh i got you. In that case I'm unsure why your getting that. If everything is working okay then i guess its not something to be too concerned about.

@Barry-P It happens occasionally when they have mistakenly identified your IP address as belonging to a different provider.
