Router won't connect to TV

Hi, I've been having ongoing problems with my wi-fi for the past two months. On my first call to the customer service team they made me create a 2.4GHZ, it didn't work. The next agent insisted I check the line via an ethernet cable. I didn't have a cable so he said he'd send out one. That was two weeks ago and I'm still waiting.

The third agent made me reset the router. He said if it didn't work he'd send out a technician. It didn't work. I called again, hoping to just get a technician booked. But the next guy made me reset again, ran some tests, and now my wifi is even worse. It won't connect to my Sky Q box no matter what I try. I've resetted the router, turned it off, to no avail. I've connected my Sky Q to a hotspot as suggested elsewhere but it still hasn't connected to the router.

Apparently a technician will call to me at some point, but given my experiences with customer service so far I'm not holding my breath.

Is there any way of connecting my TV to the router that I can try in the meantime?

Thank you.

@SimonB79 If they are close to each other the connect the Q to the Hub with an Ethernet cable!

Unfortunately the router is in the hallway and I'm still waiting for the ethernet cable Sky were supposed to send me three weeks ago.

@SimonB79 Sky only send out a 1M length cable to connect the Hub to a ONT if moving from a fttc - fttp installation and they know the system needs the cable and one has not be supplied.
