Router issues

I'm having various router issues although all lights are green and everything is ok according to Sky. 

im having WiFi reliability issues and cannot log into my work laptop vpn . My work IT says the issue relates to the router failing to provide the IP address. My sky Q mini box has given a similar message when trying to reattach it. 

Advice was to reset the router. That solves the issue for 5 minutes and then I'm unable to connect again. It is definitely not an issue with the laptop as it connects happily to the hotspot on my phone. 

any ideas of how I can get sky to fix this? Thanks
