@Terry_M the pods are not designed for connection via LAN cables as they are for use for coverage in your main home. If a Sky engineer sgreed to supply them after a visit for your use case then call them otherwise I suspect you msybecstuck.
I know from personal experience is connection vis powerline adapters did not work and I have seen similar issues with direct Ethernet connections reported in the forum.. Normally the pods communicate with the hub using a closed wifi signal so perhaps a. firmware update has stopped the connection. The ethernet portsxare primarily there for use as WiFi to Ethernet bridges.
You would be better buying a simple third party WiFi system for an Annex like my own Deco system which do work with an Ethernet feed.
