Router Box Temperature

My Sky router box is extremely warm to the point I'm concerned it might actually go on fire I've turned it off to allow it cool but as soon as I turned it on again it is very hot to touch. I have been having intermittent issues with both my Sky Q box and my internet connection I'm not sure if it is to do with the temperature of the router

@Spangles1892 ifvthe Sky hub is too hot to hold your hand on then call Sky to get it replaced. It is very unlikely to catch fire but clearly it could be a safety hazard. Like all electrronic devices it has to lose heat which normally is done through the vents in the casecso make sure it is in the open notbin a stack with other equipment, out of direct sun, the right way up which for most current designs is vertical and not on a carpet or similar which can block the vents on the base..
