Returned old Router via Royal Mail

Hi, I've just had a Sky Max Router installed and arranged a collection note through sky, then realised my printer wasn't working so I couldn't print the returns label. I then saw the option to leave the parcel on my doorstep and the postman would bring a returns label, attach it to the box and take it away. This happened and all went smoothly, as I was arriving back home I passed the postman who had the parcel with the label he'd attached on it. I've just read I should've put a note in the with my account number on and the item I'm returning but I didn't do this, will sky be able to tie this return to my account without the information? Will sky be tracking the returns label I couldn't print off? Sorry, probably too info here. Thanks for your help
