Hello,
I've had sky fibre for a few weeks now, today my ONS light has gone red and my connection had dropped out entirely.
does this mean there's an external issue?
the hub connection is on the open reach network.
what should I do?
any help is appreciated!

The LOS LED?
That's Loss of Signal: basically no light is coming down the optical cable.
You could try rebooting the ONT, and (very gently and carefully) removing and reseating the green optical jack, but beyond that it's an external investigation/repair booked through Sky.
