My internet contract is going to end on the 8th feb and wanted to look at keeping it

It doesn't end unless you have given notice to cancel it which I doubt you have done so all that will happen is the discount you currently have will be ending so you will see a price increase unless Sky agrees to either keep you on the current contract or they agree to give you a further discount if you agree a new contract with them.
