R.e full fibre priority exchange
I am currently in a full fibre priority exchange I have noticed that roughly 8 properties at my postal address does not have full fibre available. I know that because I'm in a fttp priority exchange a stop sell has been initiated I am currently on a single order ethernet generic access broadband but from what I have been told the stop sell started on the 19th August 2026 and that because I am on a single order generic ethernet access that this will end up being switched off on the 31st January 2027 if this is the case then I need to move to a fttp connection although even though I'm in a fttp priority exchange fttp is not available to me and openreach states they have no plans to build in my area. Please if somebody can help as I am getting worried that I will loose my internet on the 31st January 2027.

Re: R.e full fibre priority exchange
@Lkai a stop sell order is not the same as partial fibre services being switched off. It simply restricts placement of new orders.
If you are currently on a SOGEA service from Sky our understanding is your service will not cease. The change in January 2027 is the closure of the old analgue voice service which is irrelevant as your voice line is delivered digitally via your hub. This is different where customers cannot access a SOGEA service from Sky due to lack of the necessary equipment at the exchange requiring a change in ISP.
To get you additional reassurance I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
