Ps5 Fortnite lag

only whilst playing Fortnite by daughter can barely play as the lag is terrible......800-1000ping...so she tells me which is very bad........has anyone been able to get a solution to this problem recently....?? Thanks

@SarahC668 the most common cause of hugh lag with console gaming is wifi interference causing packet loss. If thst sounds possible ideally use an ethernet cable but if you cant try restarting your Sky hub as that will force it to find the least congested wifi channel but in many homes especially flats there may not be one.

There are other possibilities but wifi issues are by far the most common.
