Pressing keys on my phone no longer works now the phone is via broadband
Trying to action 2 factor ID with financial companies is now no longer possible if it requires me keying in numbers or pressing the hash key.
Two different banks have told me that their systems don't recognise the keypads of phones which are not longer old style landlines but are connected via broadband. They also don't recognise many iphones but that is not the problem here.
I thought this must be their system's fault but other users and one of the banks have since said I have to report the fault to my broadband provider who should sort it out.
How does one reprt this to Sky?

@StellACE given that the old analogue phone system was due to be scrapped compketly this year and all UK lines will be then be digital your bank have an issue THEY need to sort. For disconnected reasons that switch off has been delayed until 2027 but it is happening and there is little I expect Sky can do but you can call and ask them.

Thank you Chrisee. I suspected this all along. My main bank is compliant which was why I only became aware of the problem recently. One state monopoly which is non compliant had the nerve to suggest I took it up with Sky and so I wanted to eliminate the possibility that Sky could sort it.
