Potential fraud?

So, I had a knock at the door today, from a person dressed in a Sky uniform with a Tablet

Offering that Sky were upgrading everyone to Fibre

Asked for my name, when it came up with nothing, he asked for my sky account number.

We got through to the next stage and Openreach showed that it was unavailable in my area, so he would have to screenshot my details and send them to Openreach to get sorted

He also asked for the second half of my bank account number

Like an idiot, I obliged, he seemed legit, and now I'm worried I've given up my details

I've put a temporary freeze on my bank account but is there anything I need to do to my Sky account?
I can't seem to find a customer service line to speak to anyone to ensure my account and billing info remains safe

Re: Potential fraud?

Thank you,
I was just reading that on another thread
It just seems odd that they'd ask for my bank account details

@DaveAoT

I thought they only asked for the second part of the bank account number?

If you're still concerned give Sky a call by dialling 150 free from your Sky Talk landline.
