Possible internet problem

Have been watching sky sports have been watching the football but a little into it it started pixelating then freezing and finally going into a black screen with no sound the puck is hardwired to the tv so it's not the WiFi being tested and sky says all is fine with my signal and equipment but the problem is still there it's actually pixelating while I'm typing this message

Do you mean data cable to the router?

 

There's always an HDMI cable between the television set and a source device.
