Poor wifi

Switched back to Sky a few months ago. 
The first router didn't provide good WiFi all over the house so after a few phone calls I had to "upgrade" to the new white router. 
Still doesn't provide WiFi to the whole of the house. (Even though previous provider did).

I have now got a booster that sky sent out but this will not connect to the router. 
I have tried it in almost every socket in every room. 

Any advice on how to get the thing connected. I have tried all of the steps such as turning off, WPS button etc

Hi @M9583J 

Have you tried it right next to the router first just to see if it does actually connect at all? If it doesnt it sounds like you may have a dud.
