Poor speed or connection

I have recently joined Sky Broadband.  Unfortuantely my devices frequently lose signal or fail to find the connection. It is quite intermittent and not determined by where in my (small) house.  When I use the app to test my broadband it says it's 'good' but my laptop and phone are not connecting to it.  This means I am unable to do my work.
