Poor broadband speed and wifi
The wifi shows as coming into the house at 300mbps but the connection to our devices is very poor. One minute we can be getting 300mbps, the next the connection shows no internet at all. Other times it connnects but only around 10mbps. We also use the sky multi room box wifi hot spot which is terribe. It often doesn't give a signal at all and other times it's ok. We use it connect a PS5 to and it's almost impossible to play a streamed game such EAFC without the connection dropping mid game

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
@BigMac80 What sky hub are you using for the connection on the FF Full Fibre, are you Black Sky Broadband hub or the White sky Max as you mention that you are hotspotting so assume you also have the sky Q and mini's?

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
@BigMac80 So everything you have is well good, especially since you have Q/mini mesh in operation, when did you get the FF installed ie was it recently, and has all this started from that point onwards IF your sky Hub was moved to suit the position off the new ONT for the Fibre?
Do you use the Hub, the Q and the mini all to get wireless wifi about the home, and by chance do you also have or need to have a sky SE210 white booster to tie it all together?

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
We've had the fibre for almost 12 months, but only installed the mini a few weeks ago. We do also have a separate mesh system linked to the main sky box to give better coverage around the house. I would say it's more since we installed the mini that the problem has increased, although the issue's always been there to a certain extent.

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
@BigMac80 Sorry do not understand, why are you trying to do multiple mesh systems? One mesh and connect to that!

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
I may have got it wrong, it may not be a Mesh system. Basically I've got the main sky router by the TV in the living room at the front of the house. The mini box is in a studio room in the back garden connected to the main box via ethernet cable. We get poor coverage around the house, so I have a Mercusys system connected to the main sky router with 2 other boxes around the house to get full coverage. We had that in place when we had Virgin with no issue.

Re: Poor broadband speed and wifi
@BigMac80 Sky Hub port4 Wan connected to the ONT.
Port 1,2,3 available for use, Sky Q to one off those, sky mini to another off those, and your primary mesh unit to the last off those three! If you need more than three Ethernet ports then you need a 5 port switch to addon to it for more connections!
