Poor WiFi signal
The WiFi signal is poor unless we're in the room with the router. Even when just stepping out of the room it drops down to 2 bars and it's noticeably slower.
This didn't happen with our BT WiFi so there must be something wrong.

Re: Poor WiFi signal
Hi @JanetThor
Routers from different ISPs/Manufactuers can perform drastically different even when placed in the same environment. Your BT hub may have performed better through walls than the Sky hub does. You can try an alleviate some of this by adding a booster

Re: Poor WiFi signal
Thanks for your reply. I don't suppose you can recommend a good booster? I bought one but it was rubbish!

Re: Poor WiFi signal
If you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Poor WiFi signal
Thanks but I'm not on Max, way too expensive.
I'd just like a booster that I can buy outright.

Re: Poor WiFi signal
Generally Sky ones are recommended for seamless connectivity and compatibility, however you can purchase anything thats labeled as an extender. Or if you plan on connecting it via ethernet, you could get a WiFi AP.
