Poor WiFi signal
Getting intermittent WiFi signal in garden room, approx 20ft from house, works fine one minute then no signal the next. 3 bars signal, no bars (reverts to 5g), now 2 bars. This is all day everyday.
sky q mini box in garden room is hard wired via Ethernet so signal there is fine. WiFi signal is poor at best.
Fully appreciate that the WiFi will be weaker when trying to connect outside the house but 20ft should be close enough? Speeds are all over the place, as expected, 500mbps one minute, then 2mbps, then 33mpbs and now 4 mbps.
wondering if a pod/wifi extender near the back door will improve signal?

Possibly, but Sky won't provide one for that particular purpose.

Re: Poor WiFi signal
Thanks for the reply.
Will shop around. The joy of trying to purchase a sky max pod does not seem to be an easy process. Much easier to troubleshoot the pod rather than get one 😀

@GaryM76 "sky q mini box in garden room is hard wired via Ethernet so signal there is fine. WiFi signal is poor at best. " have you NOT turned on the wireless wi-fi Hotspot?

Re: Poor WiFi signal
When a Max Hub is in use, the 'non-Sky broadband' instructions apply to activate a Q Mini wireless hotspot.
