Poor WiFi signal

The broadband was connected today.

there was a fault with the line. Open reach have been and corrected that. 
however the signal from the WiFi still doesn't reach upstairs. Matthew from open reach said to contact sky as the problem is with the hub and we made need a booster. Please advise
