Poor Internet connection/ quality

I am connected to the Internet but my social media such a tiktok is taking a while to load I have connected to the Internet in my laptop. Try to load a page and keep getting the same message that the page is unreachable even for Hotmail . When I try to troubleshoot the get help it states the connection quality might be low
