Pod

I have bought an extra pod for my sky max and I can see it in my sky app but it is not connecting to internet?

@MarionD assume the pid has been sent to you by Sky as if not it wont link,. Plug the pod in reasonably near the Wifi Max router and allow it time to download an uodate then it should link. There have been reports with delays in updating the app from Sky's end if it hasn't shown up by say tomorrow then post again so a forum superuser can esclate your post to Sky.

 

The pod should work as an extender without appearing in the app.

Hopefully you didn't actually 'buy' it: Sky loans them for free to Max subscribers as required.

 

As @Chrisee indicates any pods sourced second-hand or grey import online aren't going to work with Sky Max: while Plume does offer their mesh hardware in the UK it's only as a hybrid purchase-subscription product.
