Pod not linking with wifi

I have sky WiFi max with 2 pods.

i have just bought a 3rd pod from eBay but having trouble linking it. It was supposed to new and unused 

is there a solution please ? 

is it impossible ?

@CazzaT That new and unused status may be not as you think, Sky record all the serial numbers, so effectively you are now in possesion off a stolen item. Your choice what to do next...
