Phone number for sky

I desperately need to call sky to get a new router but can't find a number anywhere and the bot just goes around in circles. Can anyone give me it please?

They aren't open yet.

These are the current methods for contacting Sky. Some methods will be more appropriate than others depending on the reason for contact……

🟧 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

🟧online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

🟧Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🟧Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

🟩Note ~ ROI customers If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines are closed at a weekend.

Re: Phone number for sky

Thanks for your help, unfortunately I don't have a sky mobile or landline so need the 0330 number. And I'm struggling with the online help, just going around in circles all resulting in no phone number

@D1_

You do have a Sky Talk landline as it's bundled with your broadband package but you have chosen not to connect an actual handset which is fine.

If you buy a cheap handset in the future you only need to plug it in when you need to call Sky (by dialling 150 which is free) if there's an issue.

Re: Phone number for sky

@D1_ Are you sure you have no number, Fibre does not stop that, plugging into the back off the sky Hub with a landline phone should give you a connection, and if you logon to your account your landline number will be shown to you!

You do. Plug a phone handset into the back of the hub then dial 17070 from the landline and listen to the automated message. This is the quickest method or dial your mobile to see what number is displayed.

Alternatively check the Sky app or take a look at emails sent by Sky about the service.

@D1_ literally every Sky Broadband connection comes with a voice line service however if you call any Sky service number you go through the IVR system. Do not engage with the bot and you should be routed to an agent assuming the system is working. Calling from the number you registered with Sky improves speed.

By the way Sky only replace hubs if the current one is faulty  or is obsolete.

Sky are absolutely terrible at letting anyone talk to them directly, however if you follow this link:-

https://www.sky.com/help/accessibility-information/support-with-other-needs/articles/support-with-ot...

Then press the "No, I still need help" button....and then the "I'd prefer to get intouch" button....then check the "I’ve tried the steps and info above and they didn’t help." checkbox and press the "Get in Touch" button....then click on the  "Choose more options" link near the bottom of the page....and then finally click on the "Call us" button (again near the bottom of the page) and voila you will see the Sky customer support number !

However, the fun doesn't end there as when connected you get a load of options designed to take you back here.

You can get through to a person eventually, although it took me three or four attempts a month or so back.

Good luck.
