Do I need a phone line to have a broadband?

Depends really.

If you order Superfast then this is delivered over your exsiting copper phone line so a phone line is required but you dont need to pay for a phone package or plug a phone in.

If you order Ultrafast this is delivered over a completely new fibre line to your home so doesnt require a traditional phone line.

You need a line to get broadband. If you go for pay as you talk means you don't pay anything for landline calls if you don't have a phone
