Hi
my new Philips hue will just not connect to the router via a Ethernet cable tried all ports and will just not connect any advice would be amazing

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jimtoohig01 does the Sky hub recognise the hue is plugged in - check the indicator lights on the port are lighting? If not its likely to be a cable issue so try another cable as Sky hubs tend to be sniffy about pertially wired cables with only 4 of the 8 connectors used.
If the cable is good but the Hue hub wont link try powering it down and trying again you should not need to factory reset the unit if its new but it might be worth doing thst as well.
