Permission from landlord

What do I do if my landlord doesn't give permission to have a line fitted for new broadband?

@Georgia27 it is very unwise to go against your landlords instructions however it would be highly unusual for a landlord to refuse installation of an Openreach line which is what Sky uses as that enhances value of property. Exactly what is the issue?

The fallback if you cannot get fixed line broadband is buying a mobile broadband service which is no longer very expensive and for many people in rented homes is useful as you can take the system with you when you move meaning you can be up and running quicker avoiding the house move hassle of fixed line services. The issue with mobile is speeds vary due to differences in coverage.
