My fire stick says "this device is paused" and to go to the My Sky app. My Sky app says it isn't paused. Have tried resetting fire stick, router and pod. Have tried forgetting network and rejoining both manually and via wps but I'm not getting anywhere. Does anyone have any idea what to do? Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@HMiles Your my Sky app wouldn't show details of a firestick, if the message is on the firestick then it's more likely a issue with that rather than your broadband connection especially so if no other devices are affected.

I think it's a plausible message if the individual device control possible within WiFi Max (aka Parental Controls) is in effect.

Yep the white hub. There's two devices listed as "generic android" on My Sky which I think must be the 2 fire sticks I've got.

There are reports of something similar with Firesticks behind Xfinity gateways, and Xfinity is Comcast, which is also Sky.
